
SOCIAL MEDIA PLAN
We use social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram ,and Weibo to help us reach our target audience. Because one part of our target audience is from China, so Weibo is much needed to spread our project throughout China.
We have created TattooWhyNot Instagram, Weibo ,and Facebook account to accompany the documentary and final website. The Instagram will be updated regularly with the whole introduction about a tattoo, the project ,and its history. The followers who are interested in tattoo and willing to share their stories about tattoo are welcomed to post the picture of their tattoo along with the story. This is the perfect way for everyone to get involved in this project. Same update and process will be on with Weibo to attract an audience from China.
We will also upload the video to Youtube and then embed it on a website as well as Facebook. Moreover, by using Facebook page, we also give culture information about the tattoo and let people know more about a difference of it. We will open a campaign on Facebook as well to encourage people sharing those stories about the tattoo.
There is a variety show on the Internet, Mars Intelligence Agency, co-presented by Youku and YinheKuyu Media in China in 2016. Its aim is to find out all fancy and novel things to entertain audience and let them explore new knowledge during laughing. It is a successful variety show for the playback amount reached at 37,000,000 for just 4 days on the Internet. The reason why it is so popular is that it focuses on the interaction with the audience and all Internet users. They create an application with the same name for users to interact directly with celebrities in the show and directing crew and to offer their ‘I found that’ proposals. The good proposal from the public will be represented in the show of next episode which is exciting to see their own proposal on the show. That is the point why people want to get involved in the show and that is the point what we will learn from to catch attention from the audience.
